Forest Hill Davao City

One of the must-visited inland resorts here in Davao is Forest Hill Resort, located at Matina Pangi Diversion Road, La Vista Monte Village.  I preferred celebrating my 31st B-Day at Forest Hill because it is near to our house in Bago Gallera, and there's no other cozy resort near us like Forest Hill.  Also, It's been 3 years since I have not visited this place, and I am curious how it looks now. The resort is still nice with new pools for adults and kids.  It has also a mini-forest park where you can take a nice picture with your family. It is also surrounded by many trees which provide a cool breeze on the ambiance of the resort.  However, my birthday falls on Saturday so it is too crowded.  I advised your getaway on weekdays if you want a little privacy.

Paradise Island Beach Resort in Samal

Want to escape from a "hustle and bustle of city life" for a while? If yes, Paradise Beach Resort is a perfect place for outing and family gathering.  It was actually the fourth time that my family and I went to Paradise Island,  simply, for its very relaxing atmosphere - clear blue water, fine white sand, and cool breeze.  But if you want adventure, Paradise has exciting sports activities too such as snorkeling, diving, kayaking, island hopping, and many other activities to enjoy. The resort is also safe. They have lifeguards watching over you and your children while swimming on the beach. When you swim beyond the restricted area, the lifeguard will not hesitate to whistle and remind you not to go far beyond that danger zone. The resort has also a lot of staff, designated in a different area to attend to you if ever you need anything.

Camp Holiday Beach Resort in Samal

Are you planning for a classy getaway, and at the same time suits to your budget? If your answer is yes, Camp Holiday  is a perfect venue for any occasion without spending much. It is far different than the other resort,  simply for its mesmerizing ambiance which makes you forget the hustle and bustle of a city life.  It was not crowded, knowing that it was summer time the last we visited.  I loved their wide and greenish landscape, suitable for  a  nature-lover person like me. I highly recommend  Camp Holiday for your "rest and recreation".

Bohol - A Trip to Remember!

Last year, my husband and I, had finally set foot in Bohol to celebrate fiesta with my husband's relatives in Balilihan. The fiesta is held every 16th of July in honor of their patron, Virgin of Carmel. Three months prior to the fiesta, I was able to get a roundtrip promo airfare via Air Philippines that cost 1700 pesos, from Davao to Cebu and vice-versa, and we decided to travel by boat via Light Shipping (click ferry schedule) from Cebu City pier to Tagbiliran Bohol.
